Hi, I’m Paul - a friendly, professional, fully qualified and highly experienced Government Approved Driving instructor (ADI) you can trust to provide calm, safe, and expert tuition in your local area.

With over 14 years of experience helping learner drivers build skills and confidence behind the wheel, and more than 5 years as a DVSA Driving Examiner, I bring a unique level of insight to every lesson. I’ve assessed thousands of driving tests during my time with the DVSA, so I know exactly what examiners are looking for - and how to help you prepare.

Before working as an examiner, I spent many years successfully teaching learners across the region, and I’m proud to be back on the road, doing what I love: helping people become safe, responsible drivers for life.

I’m based locally and know the roads, test routes, and challenges specific to the area. Whether it’s navigating busy roundabouts, getting to grips with the local test centre, or simply understanding how to feel more confident in traffic, I’ll tailor every lesson to your needs and pace. You’re not just learning to pass the test - you’re learning to drive well, with someone who genuinely cares.

I am passionate about road safety, take my responsibility seriously and stay fully up to date with the latest best practices in driver training. I’m a:

• Member of Driving Instructors Association (DIA), Approved Driving Instructor National Joint Council (ADINJC) and IAM RoadSmart

I was also fortunate to be trained by LDC in the latest adult coaching and training techniques.

I chose to work with LDC because everybody is different and the LD System allows for flexibility in lessons so that you learn to drive safely at a rate that suits you. I aim to make every lesson enjoyable and as productive as possible. The LD System just helps me to do this more effectively.
